Plants vs Zombies 2, son wants to give friend his account details....

This screams scam to me but I thought I’d ask anyhow.

My son (12) has been told if he gives his school friend his log in details for his X-Box account he (his friend) can add numerous DLC’s etc to my sons account for free, apparently this friend has already done this to a few of his friends accounts with said DLC’s becoming available to them...

I’ve said a blanket No! and snot & tears has been the predictable response....

I’m assuming I wasn’t wrong in this?

Can anybody shed further light please?

I definitely wouldn't do this. Surely the only way he can add them is by buying the dlc on that account?

Precisely my thoughts, but, of course, the 12 year old knows better.....

I guess it's simar to PS4 gamesharing. It does work. But it would be the reverse.
Your son's friend would need his account on your son's machine

All other accounts on the machine would get access to the dlc/games on said friends account.
