Dad's just upgraded the lounge plasma, meaning the ol' 50" Philips is mine, weyhey! But it's not all good news, the reason he upgraded is because every now and again, the picture would cut in half. What I mean is, the bottom half of the screen would go black. This could range from a few seconds to a minute or so, and there's no routine to it. Just happens randomly. It's about 4 years old and has had quite a bit of use.
So guys, is there hope for the old girl? It's still very usable, would be ideal if this could be fixed though. Another little thing, it seems to develop some red hue in the center of the screen when being used at full HD resolution....any ideas why?
