Play an old game at the engine of it's sequel

Hi there!
I was wondering if you know any games in which you can play the first/outdated (graphic-wise)one in the engine of the second (usually as a mod)

Personally, i can think of two:
Classic Doom, with the engine of Doom 3
Starcraft 1, with the engine of the second one

Anyone else can enlighten us and add to the list?
