Play .mov Files in WMP 11

Is it possible to play mov files in WMP 11? If so, do I just require a codec?

install quicktime alternative it's a freeware crap-free version of quicktime

lets you view apple trailers and playback mov/3gp files

Quicktime alternative should do, think the 'lite' version just gives you the codecs so you can play mov's in WMP.

I've installed this and WMP still wont play the files. I'll uninstall then re-install to see if that helps.

i don't use wmp, but it should work..

i use media player classic and that handles all mov's fine after installing QTA

I've used quicktime lite (same as alternative minus media player classic) and once its set to open in wmp11 it worked fine.
