Play sound from both Front & back audio jacks?

I realise this question has probably been asked a million times, but my google (and forum) searching skills are failing me. I have an EVGA 650i Ultra (using built in audio), and a Zalman Z9 case. Have obviously a headphone jack on the rear motherboard connectors, and a jack on the front of the case. However, when I plug my headset in to the front, it stops sound from my speakers. Is there a way to have sound coming out of both jacks at the same time?

Thanks.

I think it's only possible with Virtual Audio Cable software, but I'm not sure. Front and rear connections are seen as separate, so only one or the other can be used at any one time. I know VAC works if two separate sound devices need to receive the same audio stream, whether it works with rear and front connection on the same device, I don't know. It's free software, so it's worth a try.

Worked it out, had to install "Realtek HD Audio Manager" then change this specific setting. Thanks for the help anyway Marsman.

Does that allow sound to come from both front and rear simultaneously?

Interesting if it does. My guess would be that that option just stops it auto switching to the front once a jack is inserted.
