Play the *Doom3 Demo* (472MB)

I quite like the game but playing whole thing in dark does get quite tedious. I'm guessing there is some way you can add your torch to your gun? Anyway out of interest the demo is a sample from where abouts in the game ( beginning..end?)

All hail boradband! Glad I didn't but it now anyway. Seems like an impressive game but I've got nothing powerful enough to play it properly. Will buy it some time in the future when I can run it smoothly at a decent graphics level.
 
Just got a new TFT which has a native res of 1280 * 1024.

My R9700 is sub 10fps at this frame rate.

Is there a lower res I can run at which will not look pixelated on my Viewsonic VX910.

I doubt it, if you wanted to play games why did you get a tft anyway :confused:

I was talking about the res issues. Games dont look as good because you need a 6800 to play at your monitors res, if you dont have one you need to change the res and that screws it up real bad bcause of native res.

I can play most games fine at a 1280x1024 resolution with my 9800 Pro.
Even Doom3 and the like are fine at that if you alter the details.
