Playing WoW twice on the same PC with independent controls

Playing WoW with a controller rather than a keyboard/mouse is probably the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Even a level 10 has more than 4 spells, then you have to consider how you'd access stuff in your bags, or even use a tradeskill window, never mind potions or bandages. She definitely wouldn't experience the game properly with that sort of limited input.

i would love to try multiboxing if i had the cash.

on topic, using a controler would be the biggest waste of time even to play it casual and unless her laptop is 5+ years old it should be able to run wow on minimum.

is it possible to segment the input control devices so that one desktop uses my keyboard and the other uses a controller? Would be ideal, don't fancy repairing my old PC.

Pretty sure you're not going to be able to do this as only one WoW can be in focus at a time and would take the keyboard and controller input simultaneously. I don't know of anything that would direct one set of input to client A and another to client B.

MultiBoxing is where you send the same keystrokes to multiple clients on the same/multiple PCs, so 1 player controls X clients.
