Official/Unofficial price drop coming....misprice....Tesco wanting to start a price war like they did with the Xbox One S a few week back?!?!!? PS4 Pro has now dropped to £299.99 on their site.

If you want it on launch day forget Tesco. They use Yodel who just cannot be trusted (my experience with Tesco + Yodel).

They have been ok with me but that's probably because their Birmingham depo is 15mins away from my house.

If its genuine then Amazon will like they did with the Xbox One S Fifa bundle.

People on HUKD have already submitted their requests for Amazon to do so.

Also still showing £299.99 here.

I imagine so. It's good pricing but must be a pain for smaller retailers as they cannot afford to cut so much......

Edit - showing £332 for me as well now... Might have been an error or to get some traffic...

I would also say that there will be some competitive bundles available before Xmas with these so it might be worth holding off a bit if you are wanting a better deal.

I've made up my mind.

I've got a 2TB external I can back up my games to. I'll just take the 2TB out my PS4 and put into my Pro. I'll do a back up the night before I think.

I imagine PSN will get hammered on launch day with people re-installing their games etc. the last time I did a backup to external it took nearly 7 hours. Let's hope it doesn't take that long to copy back over.

The PS4 download manager really needs the option to limit to X downloads at once.

Seen two Digital Foundry vids this morning analysing the performance of Pro games - Mantis Racing and Killing Floor 2. Disappointing to see the frame rates were worse on the Pro in 4K mode than on the base PS4 at 1080p. What's happened to Sony's mandate that the Pro versions had to perform better?

I got ****** by this recently

Ordered a XBox S Fifa bundle + Horizons 3 and the Fifa bundle arrived a day later as they said on the Sat however I had to wait until Monday for the game (even though I got an email confirming it was ready for collection)

Really ****** annoying at the time given how far out of my way Tesco's is (and local staff wouldnt give me a copy of H3 from their stock even though they had plenty)

Have the Samsung M9T drives always been SATA3? When I bought mine back in 2015 I don't recall the product listing 6GBps or SATA3.

Best technical piece on the Pro so far, instead of people throwing around guesses based on spec numbers. Gives you a good idea of what Pro has to offer.

Most important thing : Existing games will run with the hardware throttled back to ps4 levels and wong see any benefit, unless they are specifically patched up for Pro.

Sega Saturn had dual processors. Extra one slapped in last minute when they seen games running on PlayStation. Didn't work in unison but controlled different parts of what was happening on screen.
