What were your favorite PSX games? What were some of your best moments on the system? Lets see some pics of your set up/game collection And lets all just talk about the great time in the 90's where the playstation owned all

One of my favorite moments was on FF7 while breading/racing chocobos going for the best one, every time they breeded he shouted "there mating" at the top of voice and did pelvic thrusts, it was funny as.

I also have fond memories of RE2 playing it with my friends working our way though both scenarios for Claire and leon. We could Run the first scenario so quickly, like 1hr40 and get a s/a ranking and then when we were doing the second run through all the items had changed locations and it was like ahhhh.

I got a PS2 but it never had the same fun factor, the games were just bland :(

And is it just me or do PSX games look worse on the ps2?

The first tomb raider and the first RR had to be my fav games on the playstation 1 (never get the same feeling when playing the sequels)

And C&C

Gran Turismo - back when it used to fun!
Tekken 3 - countless hours spent and vs.
Metal Gear Solid - pure quality game, one of the very few single player games that made me want to play it over and over.

Front Mission 3 - Introduced me to one of my favourite series of all time, but I also hate it because now the 5th installment which is meant to the be the best in the series will NOT see an English release and its tearing me to pieces :( Love the series, but despise the company.

Warzone 2100 - Loved that game to bits, was one of my favourite RTS. It was challenging and very complex for its time, but as usual most 'Average;' games I love seem to sell terribly (as did Front Mission 3)

C&C Red Alert - Didnt have a PC until a few years later so had to settle for it on PS1 but god I have some great memories of it :)

Hogs of War - Another that was reviewed as 'Average' but it achieved something that worms couldn't... being Fun+3D!

Worms Armageddon - My favourite one to date had so much to do and so many insane weapons :D after that the series just went downhill IMO

Digimon World (The very first one! the others suck hard ****) - Again another game that was reviewed as 'Average', but damn I had some good times with that. It was like the Tamagotchi of the PS1, but way more indepth with RPG elements thrown in. Actually thinking about it has made me want to play it again, unfortunately my copy bust ages ago :(

GTA - Well it has to get a mention right? :)

There is plenty more but cant really recall them right now.

Probably spent 10 times the amount of time on the original Playstation as i did on the PS2. Best games were

Destruction Derby 2, awesome, awesome game
All Tekken games, 3 inparticular
Silent Hill, way more scarier than Resident Evil imo
Rage Racer
Wipeout 2097
All Resident Evil games, loved them all. must have went through Resident Evil 1 5 or 6 times

Final Fantasy 7,8,9 spent so many hours playing them.
Silent Hill, really scary at the time.
Legacy of Kain, wow playing as a vampire!
Metal Gear Solid, awesome game.
Breath of Fire 3, fun fishing, fun being a dragon.

G-Police - Loved every aspect of this game, the missions, the worlds and the way I could blow up cars. :D Never played number 2, never knew if it was any good.
CTR: Crash Team Racing - It was a fun racer I could pickup and hammer - took me nearly 3 months to do it on hard, final boss was a real jammy git.
Crash Bandicoot, 2 & 3 - Liked the easiness of it, just softer on the eyes and there was no aiming involved just jump and run.
Gran Turismo & 2 - Epic sim racer for its time, if only it was MP.
Tomb Raider, 2 & 3 - Easy game to do - the first and you kind of followed the story that was quite interesting compared to other games, then the year long game that was number 3.
Driver & 2 - Loved that I could drive anywhere I wanted in 3D, never been able to do that before - then I could get out and get in other cars in number 2 (I was so happy:()
Destruction Derby 2 - Brilliant racer, was so hard when I was 7 but I eventually took it seriously and had so much fun.

I always wanted Twisted Metal, but I never had the money, I hammered the demo level, guess I should see if I can ever see it for a pound, like I got a new G-Police from Blockbuster for £1 absolute mint condition.

All spent far too many hours playing I fancied playing Tomb Raider but it didn't work - and my PS2's in storage :(

Usual suspects:

Wipeout
Ridge Racer
Battle Arena Toshinden (Wowed me at the time anyway)
Tekken 2
RE2
MGS
ISS Pro 98, ISS Pro Evo 1 + 2
Gran Turismo
Silent Hill
Destruction Derby
Soul Reaver
Driver
FIFA 98
Time Crisis
Point Blank
Cool Boarders

A huge advantage the PS1 had was that 3D was still in it's infancy, so it was relatively easy to impress.

Metal Gear Solid
Syphon Filter
Driver
Resident Evil 1, 2, 3

+ others but they were the ones that stand out the most for me.
