Playstation Network Error

So I got round to buying a PS3 the other day and it has been working fine but just now I got some error: 80710092.

It would apear theres something wrong with the network connection but the thing I dont understand is at the time it happened I was downloading demos, and they are still coming down so its not like it cant connect to the inernet, but for some reason I cant sign into the Playstation network.

Any ideas?

It's one of the infamous PSN maintenance sessions where you can't log in for eight or so hours. You'll soon get used to them. LOL.

Is there somewhere you can go to find that kind of information out?

I've had a look on some of the official sites and blogs for that very reason but couldnt find any mention of a planned outage.

Eurogamer is my source. There doesn't seem to be an official blog entry for this one.

Seems it was something on BE's side of things though mine came back online about 30mins ago.
