PlayStation Support how long for reply?

What's the usual reply time after emailing PlayStation Support? i sent an email 5 days ago, got an automated response that said we will get back to you as soon as possible etc but im still waiting. Is this normal?
 
They honestly are that bad mate - I got the same. Two weeks(?) ago I sent them an email to cancel my order for driveclub. Got an automated email back, then it took them over a week to email me to say they 'take security seriously' and could not action anything via email so I had to call them.

I called them and then they said it had gone on to the 'escalation team' - I've been waiting since two days before driveclub was released for a refund still!!

I've had to ring them about four times and each time minimum waiting time is 20 minutes - its just pathetic.

Second time I had to contact them about my broken console - I rung them, spent 20 minutes waiting for an answer, for a guy to diagnose it as faulty and then give me an RMA number but couldn't 'officially' action it due to 'computer problems'. I waited two days for the RMA returns label they promised me before ringing them again to be told no RMA was registered on the system - even when I gave them the RMA number LOL!. Had to go through the whole thing again, now have to wait 21 days for the console to be repaired, by which time I'll probably lose interest and want to sell it lol

Wow that's pretty shocking expected better from sony!. Still wating for a reply renewed my psn subscription orderd 12 months and have been charged 3 time's money has come out my bank too.Will leave it another couple of days and then ring them, Hate having to faff about on the phone so was hoping they would sort it via email.
 
You'll just get the same crappy response email i got about them 'taking security seriously' and then requesting you call them. Save the time and just call them. Be prepared to be sat waiting 20mins to answer.

I called them again today querying the refund and all they could say was that its been 'escalated' and they have to await a response from the escalation team who apparantly review each case for a refund individually. Lol
 
I spent ages on hold to them the other day ref my ds4 thumsticks. Have also emailed them re the issue.

No answer from either. It stinks

That and all of a sudden a few of my mates have decided to go next gen and got xboxes despite the obvious power differences.
 
woohoo - at last got my refund for driveclub! - bowt bloomin time.
Shame it took four phone calls, two emails, and three facebook posts to get there lol

All I need now is a console LOL!
