Just come across this and cannot find anything on this forum about it:

Looks cool, especially if i can stream games from my console to upstairs. Might make me start buying games for the PS4 rather than the Xbox, knowing i can bugger off upstairs and play games in peace.

Will also come in handy for around the house i think.

Anyone managed to get there hands on one yet? Thoughts? For £75-£85 i think it might be worth a punt.

Why not just take the PS4 upstairs and plug it into the TV/monitor.....:confused:
 
Because it is all nice and neat on the TV cabinet? I wouldn't fancie having to mess about with the wires every time i want play the console upstairs.
 
It's called the vita tv in Japan! I will buy one as I couldn't get on with playing uncharted with the Vita. I have loads of vita games and it would be nice playing some of them on a tv when I want and the ps4 remote stuff is a bonus and when the streaming media stuff is working it will be a nice, silent media player for the bedroom. 720p is more than good enough as my tv upstairs is the same res. I have been playing games at 720p on my PS3 for years with no issues.
 
I'll be grabbing one and wiring it straight into the socket behind my wall mounted TV in the bedroom for a nice clean install.

To be honest if I get used more than a handful of times each year for remote play I will still count it as worthwhile.
 
When I saw the title I thought this was going to be the same as the Play TV, which I thought was pretty dung.

Whereas this actually sounds awesome!
 
Mine was delivered on Thursday. With a DS4 it beats the Vita for remote play, which was the main reason I purchased it. After setting it up I played Driveclub and ACU through remote play on it and it worked great. Danganronpa 2 looked really good blown up on a 22 inch monitor too.

All in all, pretty happy despite the lack of media streaming which should be obvious for these sort of things.

Unlikely. There's the Network Media App that is also available on the Vita but I haven't tried it.

On the other side, I played about two hours of AC:U last night through the PSTV and it worked great. That was the main reason I bought this thing so I'm happy.
