PlayStation VR / VR2

Looks like my copy won't arrive until tomorrow so probably won't be online until Friday evening now as I'm working all day tomorrow! Something to look forward to at least

UPDATE: This game is freaking awesome. You know that feeling you get when your really excited for something new but your still unsure until you start playing and it’s way better than you thought it would be. I got that right now. I literally feel like I’m a kid on Xmas morning again.

Don’t be worried it’s great!

Agreed it's awesome, me and my lad had so much fun today playing, crouching by something and physically holding your gun over to get kills etc is just amazing. Team work is brilliant at times and gets you wins pretty easily. I got the aim controller bundle and don't get a lot of drift unless the ambient light is bright.

A must buy!

It is amazing what you physically can and have to do in this game. As you said you can duck and blind fire over objects, peek around corners by leaning. Apparently you can lay your gun on a in game ledge for steady fire which I haven’t tried yet and you can even bang your gun on door frames etc to attract attention. Now that’s attention to detail right there.

I didn’t notice drift when I played but some games are worse than others. Persistence is terrible for it after about half hour of playing it’s nearly unplayable as the in game body has twisted so much.

Hopefully a drifting fix is in the next update. I refuse to believe it’s not fixable.

I haven't noticed body twist that bad, I reset my view every game though so that probably helps.

It’s really weird in some games. With the Persistence if I reset the view the level resets but the body stays twisted. I’m facing forward but the in game body’s right shoulder slowy makes it’s way into view and it will not correct itself. Now with a game like paranormal activity the world and body will reset but there isn’t a body as such just hands so I assume that makes a difference in some way.

I love my psvr but drift is really spoiling some games for me but not all are that bad and some dont drift at all. I’m constantly pressing options now out of habit.

Surely Sony can fix this.

Does anyone know if pcvr has drifting?

Haven't tried those games but i have noticed that the darker the room is the better the tracking. When the sunshine came in the window today the gun started to drift till I closed the curtains.....worth a try if you haven't already.

It's a shame Sony didn't add the option of a second ps camera as the single camera is pretty much the source of all PSVR tracking issues :( it would have also meant you could turn around properly.

Drift is virtually non existent in PCVR setups as they all use multiple tracking cameras.

im getting it with bravo team but ive changed the lay out of my room and have a window behind me which could be causing problems with the camera

Played some F:ZH this afternoon, it's really good but I fell like most of the time is spent waiting around in lobby's.

Also it should be more than one round per map as that also kills the fun.

vr worlds is back in the charts so im guessing there was pretty good sales for the headset bundle

Yeah, I thought that was strange as well. Sony have been doing some amazing deals on the starter pack for near £200 and the starter with move controllers and a game for £250 so I'm guessing that's tempting a lot of people especially now firewall is out.

It still blows my mind that you can buy a full room scale VR setup for that kind of money (providing you have a PS4)!
