hi, i have a playtv reciever only
when you install it you need the software the original disks etc have been lost , can you install it without the software disk or where can the software be downloaded from

Your stuck without the software and it can't be downloaded as far as I know.

Best bet is to try and find someone to borrow it off or contact Sony and they might send you out a replacement disk if you ask nicely.
