Hi

I'm looking to upgrade as i would like a faster graphics card and more memory. I am out of the technology loop at the moment so i need some advice please.
I have seen lots of PCI-E graphics cards for around the £100 such as Nvidia 8800GT or ATI 3850. Essentially, my main concerns are getting an additional 2GB of RAM and and fitting a faster card. My Asrock motherboard limits things a little so i need to dump it if i want more memory. I would like to keep and add to my current memory sticks if possible.

I Currently have

Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA motherboard (limited to 4x PCI-E and 2GB RAM)
Intel C2D E4400
Corsair 2x1Gb Twin2X2048-5400C4
Gainward 7800GS+ AGP

TIA

That was quick :)
That is within my budget. Don't want a fancy board really, just something with a full speed PCI-e slot and support for 4 GB of RAM, either in 4x 1GB or 2x 2GB

Is my current memory worth keeping and buying another 2GB of same stuff ? Or should i get 4GB of faster memory in one go?

Thanks

4gb of quicker Ram might help with overclocks and your motherboard is probably a limiting factor currently as well. Your current Ram isn't too bad and your CPU has quite a high multiplier if memory serves so it shouldn't matter hugely if you just buy another 2gb though.

The motherboard doesn't have a huge array of features but it is a good solid board and overclocks nicely.
