Please can you check this build?

Basically my computer was stolen so I need a new one but I'm very out of the loop on what's the latest cpu generation what motherboard chipsets support which features etc. I realise that a B motherboard doesn't support overclocking, but the CPU is still significantly more powerful than the lower end non overclockable one, and I made sure to get a SSD with TLC nand memory and not QLC! This is just an illustrative example, some of the components will be bought second hand and will be a different version. But is this build compatible with regards to the components used?

Yes they should all work together but that psu is garbage.

Main use is going to be photo editing and gaming. Budget is fairly minimal really, about £700, I'll probably be looking to get some components like the GPU used if possible.

Yeah wasn't sure about the PSU as I hadn't heard of that brand before, will look at a more reputable brand like Seasonic.

3800x , b450 motherboard, 16gb ddr4 in the members market if your interested, would offer £120.

This! Don't skimp on the PSU. Has the potential to damage other part sin your system. If you buy a decent one should last you through a couple of upgrades too hopefully.

+1! A high quality PSU will last a decade - maybe longer. Crappy PSUs blow up in a few weeks and usually nuke something else when they pop.

I used this in another thread and I'm going to use it again...
