380w is perfectly sufficient for a single gfx card.

Im sorry but 380w is no way enough to power a x1800xt, it needs a lot of jiuce on the 12v rails. Ask in the graphic card forum.

Med... the motherboard will come with sata cables.

I'm sorry, you're wrong.... 380w is enough for any single carded system unless running a lot of fans and lights etc. Why do you think one of the most popular cases was the Sonata with 380w psu built in. Whoever has told you otherwise is wrong.

Your guess is as good as mine.....Well actually come to think of it I think it's because of all the crap PSU's on the market, like the Q-Tech. For example a 380w Tagan, Enermax or Seasonic would outperform a 500w+ cheap crap PSU like the Q-Tech.

For anyone who was wondering:

Good make PSU i.e. the makes mentioned above.

380w - single gfx card
450w - dual gfx cards

Gfx card manufacturers also state higher power ratings for their cards than is necessary to cover their asses when someone buys one of their gfx cards and melts their PC.
