Currently waiting for some funds to clear in my account for the laptop I am selling and am trying to put a system together of both what I have and what I need.

I have the following:
CPU: AMD 64X2 3800+ ADA3800DAA5CD
RAM: Corsair XMS4400 550mhz 2GB (4 X 512)
Motherboard: Asus A8N32 - SLI DELUXE
ATX Case - No PSU

No I have a very tight budget but want to be able to play games etc so have been on the OcUK website most of the afternoon pricing up the other bits needed to get a system up and running.

The bits so far from the store waiting in the shopping basket:
Samsung T220 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB
Akasa AK-P040FG8-BKUK 400W PSU (Used http://www.coolermaster.com/support/psu_calculator.php to work out required wattage)
Samsung SpinPoint F1 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache (Already have a 640GB drive to store my stuff on.
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro Xtreme Rev 2 CPU Cooler
Samsung SH-S223B/BEBE 22x DVD±RW

Motherboard, CPU and ram can be updated later when I have more funds but for now this system should see me good for now wouldn't you think ? Looking to play Team Fortress 2 / Left 4 Dead and Cod4/5 etc @ 1680X1050 with relatively high settings in game.

So, This should be okay for now guys ??

Thanks In Advance

Very good quality, and i think they only rate the sound output as 10dB. Either that or the Corsair CX 400W are the budget PSUs of choice at the minute.

And on the Hard Drive, pretty pointless getting a seperate boot drive unless it's a really good performer. Like a Raptor or SSD.

That should do fine then bud, nthe Corsair one is currently out of stock anyway :)

Thanks again mate

As for the hard drive, I have a 640gb drive atm but its getting mighty full and I am reluctant to start deleting stuff, a seperate boot drive saves me from getting rid of stuff for now ;)
