Hey again

Ill second that harddrive choice, the barracudas are lovely drives, the CPU cooler is personal taste again because theres a huge fan base for the F7 as there is for the other, depends how much clocking you will end up doing. Personally the F7 easily handles large overclocks so for me there was no need to spend more out.

Personally I would change the CPU cooler to the Tuniq Tower 120

I personally dont like the new X1950 Pro's. Whats the highest you can pay for a Graphics card?

I would get a Antec 900 instead of the PC-7 but thats my personal opinion.

I would get this Hard Drive instead...

Hi,

thanks for all the replies, agreed on the hard drive. What is it exactly that you don't like about the x1950 pro's? I was going to go for the BFG 8800 that's on 'this week only' but I decided against going for these price wise until vista/dx10 etc, I couldn't justify the cost when the x1950's seemed such good value for money. What would you recommend?

I think its proberly because I have the X1950XTX 512MB and It just seems to be a tacky remake of it...

And yes get a 8800GTX I am soon to be ordering one as well.

ahhh k:)

well anyway the pros rock lol if dont know what size screen you using but if its 1280x1024 res then get a his 1950pro 256mb and save the extra 30 towards the gtx later.

Hi,

I don't know if I'm looking at the same cards as you but the difference on the HIS x1950 pro 256 and 512 is £20.00, for such a small difference may as well get the 512.

The powercolor ones are £1.00 cheaper on both 512 and 256, I take it that the powercolor ones are inferior to the HIS?
