Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on the below, this pc will be used for gaming & mining while not gaming 24/7.

The GPU's I deffo won't change, I deffo want these ones in crossfire.

Would you change any of the components? Would faster ram be better? I7 unesessary?

Is the stock cooler ok for this cpu for gaming/mining?

I like this ASROCK board as it has onboard 7.1 and PCI-E 3.0, unless the others do too?

What makes the seasonic better than the NZXT PSU?

Is the i7 overkill & would an i5 be sufficient for gaming?

Thanks again

It should - just. FYI, there's an updated version of the Phantom case available with a bigger window.

The RAM you chose is a bit slow. Alternatives:

Little contribution from me, following a white theme with red accenting.

Regarding the lighting, I'd look for the 2M version elsewhere so that it wraps around the whole case interior, OcUK don't seem to have any at the moment.

For a bigger injection of colour, choose any red braided extensions or lighting for either.
For an injection of green, swap the motherboard in either for a G1.Sniper Z87 and add green braided extensions if you wish. There are also black + colour braided cables available.

I don't spec machines as often as I used to so you should feel privileged ;) haha. Just kidding. :)

From what I've read the 4770k is the one to go for(if budget allows) if you'll be going sli/xfire, as you are going xfire then go for the 4770k(also it does fit in budget).

P.s. Be warned on the ethermaster spec, kiss good bye to your budget(tho it seems he's currently reeled it back and seems to be like £100 over budget) :p

Edit: seems I'm slow typing :p

Seems ether is back on form :)
