please hd but no sound.

well got a 360 yesterday. and went down to get the microsoft hd vga cable. and great i got the xbox working in hd. but no sound. i have given you some photos basically i connected the red and white inputs into red and white on my tv. and nothing . the green one by the way is for my speakers.

by the way i have selected the correct tv settings but dont know why i am not getting any souns. can anyone help.

Have you altered the settings in the sound set up blade on the 360. Try that.

My TV has a little phono/headphone style jack for the VGA sound input. Looks like you've plugged the sound into the wrong port.

You have plugged the sound into the composite chanell. Will not work like that

What TV is it?

The manual will tell you where you need to stick the sound for when you are using VGA, as said above, it will likely be that 3.5mm connection above where you are currently connected, OR, there will be an option in the TV menu where it will allow you to specify where the VGA channel on the TV should take its sound input from.

its ok people i found this little adapter wich had the red and white port then it plugs into the dvi input sound thing.
