Please help before my head explodes... new TV

Hi,
Am looking for new TV.
My mind was set on LG 42LM620T or 47LM620T but then I found out that there are some problems with playback at 24fps...

then I have read here that I should not be getting LED as new plasmas are better..so that adds more options ...

am looking to replace my LG 42LD450 - 42" lcd 2 years old
as my screen is 50Hz, am looking for something with at least 100Hz. at least 3 HDMI ports but 4 would be better...and ethernet port. dont want TV with 2 HDMI....sky+bluray+wdtv already fills in all ports...

am tempted to go as far as £799 but still am thinking about this lg 47 as it is under £700...

Please please advise...

I think the 42LM620T is a good t.v won,t go wrong if you buy one

Plasma are better for viewing angles but are a lot more pricey ! so most people stick with LED T.V,s my sister has a Sony KDL40EX723BU and its a top T.V the picture is real quality and worth considering

might go for 47

I,ve read loads of reviews of the 42LM620T and 99% are positive & Blu Ray playback all say is top class

not read one bad review regarding this being poor

would PANASONIC tx-P42ST50B have better pic quality than this LG ??
panasonic is £799 though...

that Panasonic is a top class T.V i,d say its better than the LG but its £200 more

and tad smaller...

would plasma be much different - better in terms of image quality to my 2 year old LCD 50Hz ? ...

Plasma has blacker black levels than lcd (incl. blacklit-led) but isn't as good for finer details.

I prefer plasma for films because I hate seeing grey/tinged blue blacks that lcd produces.

so...bought LG 47lm660t.
great screen have to say.
but...

speakers starting to buzz - take small speakers, connect to something powerfull, turn volume down and you get the buzz..thats what Im getting even on low settings - under 8.
That has to do something with low sounds. this morning chap on bbc had a low, deep voice and it was creating buzz, explosions create buzz... this should not be like this.
I could understand if I would be watching movies on high volume but that's not the case...rang RicherSounds and waiting for a call back from their CS.
as TV is less than 1 week old - bought on Thursday, I want a refund and will go for something different. maybe this smaller panasonic plasma.

have to wait and see what they say...
