Hi, i have a media centre with a 1.5 tb hard drive in it, this is about 1tb full, it is formated in ntfs, i can also use it as an external hard drive when conected to me pc, i have a audio hifi which can play mp3's from an external hard drive which i have been using this for, i real in the manual that sometimes tracks can skip if they are on a drive which is ntfs, so i thought it would be a good idea to partition part of my hard drive into fat 32, i had a look about on the internet and found this software and had a mess about with it, and selected about 25gb of free space and resized the drive so leave 25gb free in the fat 32 format, the software is currently running (only been running for about 20 mins, and now im petrified that i have lost everythin on my drive as i cannot access it at all, it says drive not accessable now when i try to go in it, im guessing thats just because the software is in the middle of resizing and moving files.

looking at the % done, it looks like its going to take a hell of a long time to complete, possibly a day or so, im not sure.

there is no cancel button, well there is but its grayed out, in the software theres an undo button, so im not sure why i cant cancel now, and undo the changes that have been made.

can anyone tell me, will this be formatting my whole drive as well and will i lose everything on it?

is there anyway for me to just stop this and undo it, im pretty concerned about this and would rather just but a another cheap hard drive from some where and just use that instead of touching ine, i really just wnat to stop this from running.

if i force the program to stop what will happen, will my drive me knackered or will it give me the option to undo what its changed?

can anyone advice please?

Jay

Has this completed yet?

You should find info/answers on your questions Here

Seems that the best thing to do is too let it continue to run, especially as you have a lot of data on it...
