What is better????
And what is the difference between the x16 x8 etc on the dual cards
Is the asrock better

Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 Intel Z68 dual VGA cards at PCI-E x16 / x16 mode

Asus P8Z68 DELUXE GEN3 Intel Z68 dual vga cards at pci-e x8 /x8 mode

The Asrock is better.

The difference between 16X/16X vs 8X/8X is minimal.

if your going for dual cards then the asrock Z68 extreme 4 gen3 gets my vots, although that may change tomorrow morning when the this week only deals change over

Is it true that some of these asrock Z68s come with bent pins and that the pins bend to easily ?

Yes and no, but the users of these boards with bent pins are adamant that they didn't do it.

I've only heard of a couple, the pins are the same on ALL manufactures boards so it could happen on any board.
Mine has been perfect, not a single problem.
There are reports of a lot of Asus boards with usb problems and boot loop problems, but that doesn't mean every board is going to suffer.
a lot of people moaning that MSI boards don't support offset voltage.
And a lot of Gigabyte boards not having the full range of Z68 features, as far as I know even the latest ones only have hdmi output for the igpu, no vga or dvi.

At the end of the day whichever board you decide on check it thoroughly when taking delivery and any problems with it, send it back.

You have to take all the positive and negative feedback into cosideration, then make your own choice.
I will say from MY own experiences I can highly recommend the ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3, some may agree, some may not
