Ok i am purchasing a GIGABYTE P67A-UD3-B3 with an i5 2400 cpu.
motherboard has support for DDR3 2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules.

Should i get corsair xms3 ddr3 1333mhz dual channel or ddr3 1600mhz dual channel, both are same price around £36.

Or maybe someone can recommend me something better for same price range?

Get the 1600MHz but try to run it as close to 1.5V as possible.

P67 with an i5 2400 is a bit of an odd match.

P67 is for overclocking but only the "K" series chips and doesn't allow the use of the built in graphics.

H67 allows you to use the built in graphics but doesn't allow overclocking.

You do realise that the i5 2400 can't be overclocked at all so you're putting a non-overclockable chip in an overclocking motherboard and you won't be able to use the built in graphics.

It'll work but just seems a bit of an odd combination.

Yeah I was keeping a tight budget and not looking to overclock but to have a future proof motherboard. I happened to get this motherboard for cheap otherwise I would have gone the h67 route. Thanks for your advice guys.
