As much as I feel for this guy, I have been ****ing my pants reading this.

Do you have a power cable plugged into your gfx card?

Do you have a power cable plugged into your gfx card?

That card doesn't need one. Its low power enough to draw everything it needs from the PCI-E connection.

To the OP: Unfortunately we can't see the 24 pin connection on that photo. Can you verify that it orientated correctly (hook thing on the right) and fully inserted (so you hear/feel a click as the hook engages)?

now, referring to the manual:

17) Phase LED

The number of lighted LEDs indicates the CPU Loading. The higher the cpu loading, the more the number of lighted LEDs. To enable the phase LED display function, please first enable Dynamic Energy saver2. Refer to chapter 4 for more details. thats all it says

HAVE YOU GOT IT CONNECTED TO A MONITOR YET?????? We need to know if all power imputs 4 and 24 pin are in place, and if you have messages coming up on screen.

nothing is showing on the moniter, just says power save mode, amber light etc. As far as i know the CPU is in place properly, followed the manual, notch lever thing is secure etc

looks okay.

So is it powering up, fans spinning, amber and red lights on board, then going off again??

Can you try a cmos reset (see manual)
