Hi folks,
I just got my new rig yesterday, and built it. Here's the spec:

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775)
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)
Western Digital Raptor 74GB WD740ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache
Samsung SH-W163 16x16 DVD±RW Serial ATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black)
Tagan TG530-U15 530W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB
CoolerMaster Centurion 5 Black/Silver Case
Dell Ultrasharp 2007FP 20.1"

The build was fine. Everything worked out & it booted 1st time. I put my Windows CD in the drive, and installed XP. I installed the Chipset Drivers & then the graphics card. I was well chuffed with myself, a very smooth build. My temps were fine, Device Manager was perfect (no unknown devices). I was getting tired @ 1am, so I turned everything off & went to bed. I got home from work about an hour ago. I've tried turning the PC on & I'm not getting a peep. Nothing is powering up. The PSU fans are dead, the CPU fan is dead, the DVD Drive isn't powering up, the HD's are dead. Nothing is happening. What should I do?

Check the power lead is connected to the power supply. I had a power lead that the slightest movement of the case would result in the power lead needing to be pushed in firmly.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions, but I'd already checked the obvious stuff. ;)

I've just tested the Tagan 530 on my old Socket 754 system. I didnt want to disassemble either PC, so I just lined them up beside each other, and plugged the Mobo & CPU power plugs from the Tagan into my Socket 754 system. It didn't do anything. Nothing powered up. I reattached my old PSU's Mobo & CPU power plugs to the S754 system, powered on the system using the same Kettle Lead as used by the Tagan earlier - result: it worked as normal.

I guess my Tagan is dead. If any1 wants to query my testing procedure, please let me know if you think i've over looked something. I would love to test my old PSU on my new system, but it's underpowered & it doesn't have a 24pin connection - so I guess I'll just RMA the tagan.

Any last words?
