Hi,

I am looking at getting a DSLR and i already know that i am going to get the 400d but the dilema i am having is the lenses.

I have found this offer

for £685 after canon cash back and looks like a very good option.

Just to give you an idea of what i am going to be doing with this.

I am going on my honey moon in a few weeks (to the maldives) and want a camera that will be good at taking the breath taking views they have out there (i know its not all the camera but the user as well).

So will this lens be good enough or should i not worry about IS???

Any help would be great.
