Hi

just changed multiplier in bios to x17 and now wont boot. Mobo says FF (nothing in handbook)... and fans going full blast!!

Any suggestions!?

Clear the CMOS.

Google it. You shouldn't be messing around in the BIOS if you don't know how to do that. Usually it involves shorting two pins with a jumper or removing the battery for 10 mins. Your motherboard manual should tell you too.

I know you are correct.. twas a mistake...just reading manual but nothing...

You can't really miss it. Small silver circular disc about 1cm in diameter.

There is a silver tab which should make it pop out.
