the motherboard according to belarc is a
packard bell sjv51-dn v2.02

its in a packard bell easynote laptop model tm83 v2.02

I have tried downloading the wireless lan drivers from packard bells site but thay doesnt seem to work

it still shows in device manages as network controller missing.


can anyone please help with the correct drivers please

you could try downloading Driver Genius. If you run the trial version it will scan your PC and tell you of missing/update drivers that are required. However it wont let you download the drivers you have to pay for that version.

but.....it will give you the correct name of the driver for your wireless card so you can then do a google for it.
 
Or open the bottom covers on the laptop and get the model of the wireless card, usual for the model of the wireless card to have a sticker on the bottom of laptop as well.
