first time building everything seems ok intill i installed windows it tells me windows will now reset system,when pc starts up again in takes me to bios again.whats wrong?

Ok sorted, no was on disk.sounds stupid but everything looks so basic and have no sound,do i need to install drivers etc and what about graphics card does an driver need to be installed too?

You will need to install graphics card drivers.

It will but it will only work with basic settings until the drivers are installed.

You pretty much need to install drivers for everything if it's a fresh install.

yeah thats cool.thanks paniced alittle tis scary first time lol.what about sound as i stuck a dvd to try it and didnt get anything even through headphone jack,sound drivers ?

It will probably need sound drivers. Should be on the motherboard disk/manufacturer site. I would get it from the manufacturer site as it will be more up to date. If you list all your components I can help link the drivers you need. Also when you mention headphone jack, do you mean the one on the back of the motherboard or the front of the case?

The front head phone jack, i have installed the disc that came with motherboard (z87 hp3) i know i got to download gtx 660 drive. Also when putting cpu cooler bracket on the braket on thr cpu didnt scerw tight to the mother board does this matter? just thought it seemed tight enough.

Does the sound work with the back headphone ports? If it does, then that means you haven't got the front audio ports connected properly to the motherboard. Make sure it's the "HD Audio" that's connected, and in the BIOS "HD Audio" is selected instead of "AC'97".
