A very dear friend of mine has just found out that his mum has Stage 4 Lung Cancer and sadly she has been given just three months to live, she's simply too weak for treatment.

His family have had the most horrific time imaginable, please if you have any loose change hanging around in your PayPal account, please help to make her last few months that little bit more bearable and donate.

My dad also died from lung cancer 9 years ago at least I had a few weeks with him before he left to be with the Lord. He did tell me a few months before he died that he made peace with the Lord so I know he was born again. I will see him again soon
 
I'm sorry to hear about your friends mother, I hope her final months are as comfortable as possible. My father has just learned that his stage three bowel cancer has unfortunately spread to his liver and he now needs to go through the whole process of chemo and surgery again. I'm afraid I won't be donating however as I believe money would be much better spent donated to research bodies rather than helping individual cases, especially given that there are probably fifty people on this forum going through exactly the same thing right now.

Not often that i agree with Robbie G, but considering the picture of his mum has a 'e-cigarette' or whatever you want to call it is it really that surprising that someone who has smoked gets lung cancer? Odd thing to ask money from others for :confused:

Not meant to sound harsh (although it probably does) but i just find it odd.
 
I think it's safe to say that his avatar is probably not anywhere near the top of his mind at the moment.
