Please help

Hi
I've bought myself a new 1TB hard drive for xmas and just installed it but my computer isn't picking it up idk what's wrong I've plugged in both plugs and tried switching the plugs with my 200GB hard drive to see if the sockets or cables i was using before were the problem but it's still not picking up the hard drive.

Try looking in Disk Management see if it's in there bud

Thats ok bud you may have to set a new volume by Right clicking on it in Disk Management and then it should appear when you look in the normal place
