Please Post here with a date for fermi!

To be fair I have watched the ces and nvidia party clips on youtube, and I cant remember them calling it Gt360/380. Only fermi or gf100

480,470? So what happened to 380,360? Oh...I see....they will rename the 8800 into that market sector.

I realise you're joking but I could actually believe that at this point. I can't see any other reason for skipping a numbering generation other than to rename current parts. :/

Nvidia next gen of cards, loads of rumours about it, some say its late, some say it consumes to much power, some say it runs too hot, some say its at least 20% faster than ati5870, some say its nearly as fast as ati5970, some say its directX 11 and tessallation performance makes anything ati got look last gen.

I'm hoping March. This will be perfect for me as it's near my birthday and gives me some time to save up.

I'm a bit worried about how hot and loud these cards are going to run.

I eagerly await reviews .

nVidia's last public statement was Q1 2010 tho whether thats their Q1 2010 or ours who knows :D

I've heard 2nd week in March and early May from different sources - not sure if thats due to confusion over when Q1 ends for nVidia, if some partners are getting stock at different dates, they know something we don't or what.

Rofl, clearly Nvidia lives in their own little world where the Sun revolves around the Earth, and Q1 is in September or something.

To look at Nvidia's history of rebranding (cough-8800GT-cough), it does not surprise me at all.

By the time anyone can buy it ATi's stuff will be last gen :)

Personally I'm interested in the Fermi release just for the entertainment. It will be fascinating to see which rumours are true and which are false, and what ATi will release to counter it.

All this reminds of when the 8800 GTX/GTS were out and everyone was waiting for the ATI 2900
