Please rate this timelapse in HDR...

I think its too fast (the shots are fairly short but high speed), slower so you can actually take in what your seeing without everything moving past your eyes as such a speed would be nice....if the overall time is a factor I'd be tempted to take out some scenes to allow fo this.

Knowing how difficult these things are to make properly I'd give that a steady 10/10... based on how much I enjoyed watching it too.

:D

This bit especially:

Looks kind of over-saturated, lacking depth in the midtones and has nasty haloing effects going on.

But surely if that's what it would look like standing there then the effect is fine.

I have hiked in the Canadian Rockies and woken up on the shore of a lake at 7am just as the sun crested a ridge and hit the mountains at the end.

The scene looked so perfect it almost looked fake which is what you are describing here.

Personally I would say well done to capture that

I'm 99.9% certain that's not what it would look like standing there, which is entirely my point.

As someone who does a lot of HDR I did really like this video however some of the hdr was taken too far and it was oversaturated and kinda ruined.

I give this 7/10
