I know this is a long shot but I would like to warn anybody who lives in the Snodland, aylesford, and leybourne areas of kent to watch out!

Sadly my dog went missing on thursday after being attacked by 2 doberman over leybourne lakes, myself and my family have been looking for him 24/7 since, every night till 4-5 am, We very sadly found him today whilst we were out looking and he had passed on due to his puncture wounds from the doberman!
I would like to make all dog walkers in this area aware of these vicious dogs! my poor happy dog lost his life to them and the owner has quite bluntly told us to **** off and she doesnt care! asking around the area, these dogs have attacked more than 4 times before!

Please, please look out if you walk around this area, I never want anyone to have to find their dog like i did mine today!

Sorry for the depressing thread but i need to try in every way possible to let dog walkers know as the police and wardens have done nothing.

OP - I'd report it to the police. If it has happened 4 times previously it should be taken seriously?!

hopefully now that something even more serious than just somes flesh wounds have happened they may take it a bit more serious but we need to have him looked over first as they need a vets report to do anything about the dogs!
i think anger has kicked in before greif but its a lot harder than i thought it would be.

Terribly sorry to hear what happened to yours, so hopefully once the report comes back you can go to them...

I hope so because its certainly not a nice feeling walking around handing out missing posters and seeing your dog like that.
Im kinda just happy it was me and not a child. Whats annoying is i have this womens address and its so very hard not to go there

was your dog of it's lead? how did it come to be attacked?

this doesn't make sense, I would have picked my dog up (collie)

but sorry your dog's dead and everything.

this was in a park, the dogs came out of no where and my dog ran cus he was scared, we went to find him but the dogs were going at us too!

we didnt have much time to pick my dog up, he ran, like anyone would! im also 5months pregnant.

look at him, he darted away!

:( Very sorry to here that -impulse- and genuinely gutted for you! Please don't label every Doberman as aggressive though as thats simply not the case, the fault lays with the owner and I hope you pursue getting he/she prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

i have said all along to everyone who helped me in my search that its not the dogs fault, if anything i feel for the doberman, he is only aggressive because the older--muzzled--one was violent due to neglet from the owner (who got a second younger one for some reason) and he has copied, unfortunatly if nothing is done the doberman may bite a person and will then be put done.

I am one of the biggest dog lovers you will ever meet and the last thing i want is for another dog to be hurt.
