What's with all of it is my question..
i dont have a car at the moment. Sorry your a bit to far away.
What we need from you is pic of how you system is set up. maybe a drawing explaining you set up.
Your wiring looks a bit of a mess and things just look right.
Troll??
If the pump is connected to an extension then make sure the extension cable is plugged in properly at the other end.
Once you're sure the pump has power then whilst its turned on, give the pump a tap, just lightly but enough to free it up if its stuck.
You ran the pump dry for 20 minutes?
Wow.. You killed it.
SOUNDS like a torture to me ......mlwood 37 ,can I pay u for coming to my place ....
Just tell me what should I prepare before u arrived ( I mean shopping )
Please show me the procedures and I really afraid to screw things up again . The things r really expensive now.
Thank you for your advice, bloom my minds totally lol.
BTW, what's ur opinion , get the fan installed tuesday and left the whole water things away ? or I should go and buy a new pump and replace the dead one so I can still have the water cooling....
I mean ..the fans and all these tubes , fittings , radiators and blocks r not cheap ,arent they . its a waste to put them away..But now ,I'm just afraid of these things,u know...
1. the kit was XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 WaterCooling Kit (*2)As far as I can tell from your posting, you didn't do anything else wrong apart from letting your pump run dry. You don't need to worry really, just don't run it try again! Water pumps use the water to keep themselves cool, if you run it dry it overheats (not good), and this appears to be what has happened. To be honest, I'm REALLY surprised it ran for 20 minutes!
Next time, turn it off immediately and shut down the PC. If it isn't shutting down quick enough just turn it off.
Good luck getting the replacement sorted quickly.
BTW.. the 'kit' looks like a complete external system with radiators etc, that is the 'kit' I was referring to, not 'just' the pump. Did you construct it all yourself, or did you buy it elsewhere?
Also, looking at one of the pictures, you appeared/or appear to have a massive air bubble just in one of the pipes for the CPU. So, you might have been suffering from an air lock(trapped air stopping water from getting through).
