Troll??

If the pump is connected to an extension then make sure the extension cable is plugged in properly at the other end.

Once you're sure the pump has power then whilst its turned on, give the pump a tap, just lightly but enough to free it up if its stuck.

i dont have a car at the moment. Sorry your a bit to far away.

What we need from you is pic of how you system is set up. maybe a drawing explaining you set up.

Your wiring looks a bit of a mess and things just look right.

100% sure powered... i tap it like million times...sorry , but ty though

PSU 1,2 means PSU connection at different time , I tried them both , PSU 1 worked ,but I guess I screwed with the pump cause I didnt fill the reserivor with enough water and damn that children proof cap , it took me a while2 open it . In the meanwhile, pump was noisy and everything went fine. But there was about 20 mins that the tank had no water until I filled it . so I guess the pump is broken.
Now the thing is , no matter how hard I tried and reconnected to the PSU 2 condition , it didnt move at all .......
I lost the receipt for the pump and resevior as a package and the only thing I have is its box..with some CPU block backup and 4 screws ....DO i still have the chance to send it back and get a replacement ?
I have already ordered a new fan for the CPU cooling ..Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler
do I have to order a Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound too ? I didnt order cause I think the water cooling system already had a block above the CPU and the contact stuff shouldnt be a probelm . Do u think it is reasonable ?
many thx

You ran the pump dry for 20 minutes?
Wow.. You killed it.

Yep, and most likely invalidated the warranty in the process.

And chances are, your new CPU cooler will have thermal paste with it, you should never re-use paste, so clear off what's on there at the moment, before adding your new cooler.

Key thing, you ran a water pump dry, BIG mistake. Just buy a new pump and dont run it dry again. Lucky you didnt lose your cpu to be honest.

What is the kit please?

ahhh.... seems that I truly did something wrong ... :(
I hate those caps.... they r the only reason I got mess! I finally opened with a piler.
The kit was Laing DDC1+ Ultra 18W (MCP355) 60 quit for a new package...
I'm getting worried about equip a new fan on Tuesday.
If I GOT lucky ....could someone pls in Newcastle could give me a hand ? It will be amazing that someone could teach me about these hardware.
I dont think I should keep the kit anymore if anyone of u get interested ,please take a bargin ....or I could possibly get a hand and buy the pump to install them again and return the fan ? I dont know
At all ,I really need a local guy. is here anyone from Newcastle-upon-Tyne ?
anyway, i'm learning these coolers right now.but little progress since english is not my first language. Pay much more efforts than you guys, believe me ......
Thank you for all the kind-hearts here. Have to say ur replies really cheered me up !

when filling a loop,

1) Never run pump dry.

2) never have you PC fully connected. Use a paper clip (pref one covered in plastic) and connect it to you Green cable and Black cable on power supply. Remove every thing else from the power supply just have and a Pump on it.

3) Fill res and tilt pc , cooling box back and forth to help move water though the system

4) once ready turn on pump for no more than 15 seconds to push water though system. Keep adding more liquids and turning off pump and on pump to get water into the system.

5) Once its filled then put you res top back on and move were you rads are back and forth to eliminate bubble's in the rads.

6) Put paper towels all over system and leave running now (so not connect rest of pc up yet) and check for leaks, leave for at least 2 to 3 hours or all night. Check for leaks

7) If you happy re connect all the pc back up and check temps and adjust as necessary.

Never run pump dry ....

SOUNDS like a torture to me ......mlwood 37 ,can I pay u for coming to my place ....
Just tell me what should I prepare before u arrived ( I mean shopping )
Please show me the procedures and I really afraid to screw things up again . The things r really expensive now.
Thank you for your advice, bloom my minds totally lol.
BTW, what's ur opinion , get the fan installed tuesday and left the whole water things away ? or I should go and buy a new pump and replace the dead one so I can still have the water cooling....
I mean ..the fans and all these tubes , fittings , radiators and blocks r not cheap ,arent they . its a waste to put them away..But now ,I'm just afraid of these things,u know...

Mlwood's advice is spot on for filling the system - in the future make sure you have everything to hand before you start. Watercooling takes some time and effort to maintain - if you don't want the hassle of learning to look after it and how to run it properly then air cooling would probably be better for you in the long run.

At the same time everyone's made mistakes with systems in the past (I had a great one where after testing my loop was working fully I somehow sliced through the pump power supply when putting the side of the case back on and didn't notice for 15 mins - that was a hot loop!) - you don't wake up knowing to watch for this stuff though, so if you want to continue on with it you'll never make the same mistake again I'm sure ^^

Ill do you a video tonight, just for you.

As far as I can tell from your posting, you didn't do anything else wrong apart from letting your pump run dry. You don't need to worry really, just don't run it try again! Water pumps use the water to keep themselves cool, if you run it dry it overheats (not good), and this appears to be what has happened. To be honest, I'm REALLY surprised it ran for 20 minutes!

Next time, turn it off immediately and shut down the PC. If it isn't shutting down quick enough just turn it off.

Good luck getting the replacement sorted quickly.

BTW.. the 'kit' looks like a complete external system with radiators etc, that is the 'kit' I was referring to, not 'just' the pump. Did you construct it all yourself, or did you buy it elsewhere?

Also, looking at one of the pictures, you appeared/or appear to have a massive air bubble just in one of the pipes for the CPU. So, you might have been suffering from an air lock(trapped air stopping water from getting through).

1. the kit was XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 WaterCooling Kit (*2)
Acrylic Reservoir for Laing DDC
Laing DDC1+ Ultra 18W (MCP355)
I bought the whole PC from my friend as I said at the beginning of this post , I'm a honest person and I dont wanna 2 be bothered by construction as I was preparing for exams
I'm not quite sure , but all of them ( water cooling system ) must be over 300 pounds.
2. the air bubble problem was my first thought , I tried 2 refilled it and clear those bubbles .no use.
3. Though I'm trying to ask for a replacement , I didn't give it much hope.
The only thing is should I spend another 55 pounds to repair the things and not guarantee I can do this ?.....
The fan I ordered will arrive tommorow and I hope everything will be alright.
Anyway, if no one interested to take the kit away, I would wait for u guys to give me a lesson ...:) (BTW, as the reservoir was constructed customerly, it was hardly possible to remove as 2 screws attach the bottom of it to the bottom of the cabinet ,which means the pump can hardly get out of the cabinet unless I found the matched screwer and since I'm just settled down ,there's noway i can find a screwer... :(
Thank you for all .... I felt myself really stupid.
