You are correct but I have a copy of the custom drivers if you want it... the D975XBX is a seriously good board, dont worry about it...

Also if you have revision 304 (which is the only one they sell of this site) the it is DEFINATELY compatible with Conroe

I wanna buy a retail copy though, OCuK seem to be selling only OEM. I won't be ordering for another 2 weeks at least so if they sell it here, it's fine. If not, I need to look around for a place that does sell this new revision retail, or pick a new motherboard.
Also, currently it is possible only with hacked drivers. Any idea if this likely to change soon and will it be supporting SLI officially?
If not, i'd prefer to go with one which does.

If you want to wait for SLi boards your going to have to wait untill late august :)

This is correct untill nforce 5 comes out in late August

late august means how late? I reach UK on 13th august, and was hoping to start a build on 14th :p

Also these hacked drivers, any problems with them? do they work fine? would any graphic card warranty be void if I use them?

Sigh, I really hate aitng for them, but I think it's better if I do :(

I looked around, but couldn't find any release date :( What are the chances of this getting delayed even more?
 
Bit late, but for the love of god with that budget get something REALLY nice!

Anodised G70, mountain mods UFO case would be awsome and fit right in with the budget.

The Lian Li's are not about looks though, bland and boring is the best way to describe them, its the build quality.

Have a look at a mountain mods case, one of the more exclusive brands you will find. :)

The reason why I seem Lian Li centric is that most people have the same requirements, and the best two cases sub £100 are the Eclipse and PC7+ so they get recommend the most obviously.

With that budget buying such a case would be a waste, I have £50 PC's in £150 cases! :p
 
Hello Yewen, I read your posts an awful lot on the cases section of the forum, you seem to live there ;)

However, I have to say mate. I don't really like the U2 UFO case. I know we all have different tastes etc.

I much prefer the G70, particularly this one, which I know you are very fond of too.

I also like the Zalman 300, but they dont make one for skt 775
