Like the title says im looking to start watching some good old films.
I like the war films and westerns. There is something about them you just dont get in the new blockbusters but i just cant put my finger on it.

So far ive ticked these off my list

Hah there is loads im gunna have to get cracking, i have seen a few of these films i the past but not well enough to remeber, i didnt even remember id seen them until i read the titles.

Also can anyone tell me the name of the film where the english played football and escaped from the stadium? It was ww2.

The age group I'm in I suppose. I grew up watching a great many of the films mentioned in this thread and, for me, they just have a better replay factor than 'newer' films.
