Is this for gaming? There's no way I'd try to run games on a 1440p monitor with a 660.

What is your budget?

Either way, get some better RAM:

YOUR BASKET
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLAD38G2400HC11CDC01) £55.99
Total : £64.69 (includes shipping : £7.25).

I want to use the full resolution of the Dell 27" which GPU would you recommend if you think the 660 is not capable ?

Memory noted.

Thanks a lot

Gaming on a 1440p monitor with a 660 is pointless, because you'd have to turn the graphics settings down to such an extent that it nullifies the higher resolution. For high settings at 1440p you need a high-end card - a 780 or a 290.

Thats a massive price increase, to be honest the games I will play will not be intense, they will be multiplayer shooters like TF, COD. :p:p

This pc is more for professional use.

That's fair enough, then; although you may want to consider a 4GB 270X instead of the 660. The extra VRAM will help.

I've added a CPU cooler so you can overclock the 4670k. Gone down to a 120gb SSD which should be enough for your OS, apps, and a couple of games.

Depending on what you 'professional uses' are (i.e. if it benefits from multiple cores), you might be better off with an 8320 processor if you can't stretch to a 4770k.
