I think option 3 is the worst buy, as you can shop around and get it cheaper (£20). Options 1 & 2 would be competitively priced if you get free delivery, but you may need to make more posts first.

As for which card...
Option 2 is the best value, but if you want a little more performance it's about a tie between the others, and choice should depend on the games you play, resolution you use, and whether you're likely to add a second card at any point.

Hard choice really.

I like both the 6970 and GTX 570.

However you need to decided based on what is important to you.

If you want to save money and only game at 22inch then a 6950 will do the job.

If money isnt a problem, then and want something better then that leaves a 6970 or the GTX 570.

The 6970 is quiter and cooler from benchmarks that Raven provided, amazingly so for a high end card.

From Anadtech benchmarks that I have seen, it seems the GTX 570 will have slightly higher minimums and will do tesselation better than the 6970.

Overall both cards very close, with one winning over the other dependant on game.

I think from a PURE DX11 performance point, the GTX 570 will probably be better...

Yes the 6970 has more ram, and yes dependant on games will be nice to have, but based on the games that are available today, I would go with the GTX 570 if its pure DX11 performance you want.

GTX 570 minimum frames and tesselation wins it for me.

But both cards are equal. If you value noise and heat then the 6970 is the card.

If I was to choose between the two, the GTX 570.

6970 and a 570 are pretty much neck and neck, the 6970 is only £9 more and is in stock, whereas the 570 wont be till the 22nd!

I'd just get the 6970.

Performance wise, 6970 is pretty much on par with GTX570 for 1920 res 4xAA, with the 6970 having slightly lower minimum frame rate in general. But one thing to consider is that the GTX570 has already been confirm to be a decent card for overclocking from 732MHz to 850MHz very easy (16% overclock), 900MHz (23% overclock) fairly easy, 900MHz+ down to luck...where as the 6970 the highest overclock I've see is only from 880MHz to 980MHz (11.3% overclock).
So best case scenerio is that the 6970 "might" match the overclocking capability of GTX570, but it is very unlikely (as it need 1021MHz for 16% overclock, and 1082MHz for 23% overclock) and it definitely won't be better than it on overclocking.

If you are not overclocking the card, don't think it matters too much GTX570 or 6970, but if you think you might up your res in the future (bigger monitor with 2560 res or multi-monitor set-up), then it would be better to go 6970.

Option 2. 6950 and overclock it, then buy another one at a later date. :D

+1

Go for the best value option 6950 and overclock it up to 580 performance, you will feel great for doing it. Still waiting on voltage tweaking software for the 69** cards though.

At this present moment in time.. 570 is SLIGHTLY better in BC2.

If you want cheap get the 6950 and overclock, if not get the 570.

The 570 will only prove a 'bad buy' against the 6970 if the 69xx drivers improve substantially.

Bear in mind that the 6950 is a pretty darn good performance per pound card.

Option 3 -
570gtx is a non brainer. It can be had for 250£ though.
Overclocks much better that 69## cards and scales much better when oc.
Stick that baby on 900mhz and even a 1ghz 6970 can't catch it.
PhysX and better drivers come free!
