So now my rig has stabalised (touch wood!!) i've been thinking of adding a SSD to use as a games drive. While shopping around a mate pointed me to the Plextor M6e M.2, which he said would be ideal for me as i'm not really that techy. I'd litterally just have to plug it into my PCI slot and that'd be it. Hell even i can do that :D

Granted, it's expensive, for the price i could easily get a 1tb Samsung one, but i like the idea of just being easy to use.

So what are your thoughts on this drive, is it as good as it's made out to be? Or should i just get a normal samsung drive?

You have to ask yourself if you can justify the cost for those speeds. If not, I would settle with one of Samsung 840 Pro's.

with the prices of SATA SSDs it makes absolutely 0 sense to buy such a drive to use for storing games.

oh and did I mention it makes 0 sense already?
