Plug galaxy s6 into ipad to get photos off?

Hey all,

Friend is after an ipad pro, but wants to know if he can use it to pull the photos from his samsung s6 when required? Is there a cable that will allow this?

Not possible as far as I know. I'd probably put the photos on the S6 into Dropbox and then fire up Dropbox on the iPad and download them.

I used dropbox/google drive (can't remember which) to see if I could do this and it worked just fine. No messing about whatsoever

Not tried it with an S6 but if he wants to transfer it using a cable you can by a Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter that allows either inserting the SD card directly or plugging the phone in via USB. Aslong as the phone uses mass storage the ipad should be able to copy directly off it. The cable is handy if you have no access to wifi/4g etc
