Plumber Question

I’m looking at getting the aqualisa q smart shower, but I don’t know if I need the mavity version or high pressure.

I’m running off electric, with an immersion heater tank! The previous one installed a pump to up the hot water pressure.

What would I need!?? mavity or high pressure? I wouldn’t call my hot water powerful!

If it's off a pump you want the high pressure one. Same shower I'm getting for my combi.

If it's that bad even with a pump you might as well get rid of the pump. Bit the documentation for the shower tells you the pressure required for each.

Yes attach a pressure gauge.

Before you do anything I'd get a couple of plumbers out to quote for sorting the water pressure to the shower if you have a pumped system off a water tank pressure shouldn't be something you are worried about!

I think the pressure is ok actually. I’ve only just moved in and was having issues with the flow rate and the hot water not getting hot. But after few days it seems to be there now!

Obviously the flow rate differs between hot and cold. But I test the pressure on cold only? Is that correct
