Silly question but I've never had to deal with a plumber in my life.

Little back story but basically me and a mate live with a lazy bell end and he blocked our bog good and proper and literally nothing has worked so I told the nobhead call a plumber and he's not doing it so I've been ******** in a plastic bag and having to bin it....

Going to call a plumber but I want to make sure he is billed for it not us because it's nothing to do with us.

If say he does call a plumber and the guy comes round on a day he's at work do plumbers take like card details over the phone or anything like that or invoice you? What I don't want is a plumber to turn up do the work then try bill either me or my mate because we happen to be there and this kid disappears.

We had issues with this moron before not paying us money he owed us so neither of us is willing to risk it.

Advice?

Edit: Also how much can he be expecting to pay? not that I Really care as it won't be our problem but it'll help knowing roughly.

Tried plunger mate, bought drain unblocker, bought a steel cable which you shove down.

The works,

Basically it's unblocked now but some reason is not draining as "fast" as normal, the water backs up a bit then drains out so it's like something is still stuck down the pipe and if any of us take a crapp in it I reckon it'll block right up again because at least we can take a leak, whereas before it was TOTALLY backed up.

Seriously, try that with a carrier bag wrapped round a mop, my mate lived in an old high rise and used to have to do this every couple of weeks.

Borrow a pressure washer. Shove it down and turn it on. Then flush at same time

You should blast what ever is down there out

point is, this guy is a MASSIVE ******,

And why should I be one doing it with a mop when I didn't create it? you know how many times I've been cool and cleaned up after this guy. I'd rather see him sort it and get billed so he doesn't do it again. That's why I'm asking about plumbers so I know how to proceed.

stick a whole bottle of washing up liquid down and then flush XD (no seriously do not)

sounds like the pipe is probably blocked further down from your toilet , does the other guy stick condoms , baby wipes , fat etc down the drains or toilet?

That's what I've been wondering whether this kid has flushed something he shouldn't have. I've never seen such a block before...

Well we'll find out when plumber tells us the cause.... then I can kick off about it.
