Ok, before I call out a plumber for something relatively simple. (albeit going to be the landlords problem) I'd rather not bother him/them for something I can do, so I can get my water back on before Monday.

I have a leaking pushfit plastic joint underneath the bath, connected to one of the bathroom taps.

This is the fitting, its actually the one in the background, but easier to get a pic of that one.
As I understand it, they are tightened by pressure and not by a ring on the outside, but I would like to know if there is a way to removed and put back on the joint. So, how can I either tight, remove and reapply the joint to see if it reseals?

Thanks.
