Plusnet devices disconnecting, will a new router fix this?

Whoops, my mistake. The router I have just bought doesn't have a built in Modem, oh dear. Now I'm going to have 2 boxes in the hallway. It best be good

In the Asus name, RT stands for router, it's DSL with the built in modem ;). So the DSL-N66U was the one you wanted but unless it's different now Asus modems aren't very stable with FTTC.

Yeh silly mistake on my behalf haha. Do you know if this router will work with the plusnet hub one?

All I want is a more stable connection

good luck, i too have been having the same issues as you with plusnet.
openreach been out today and put me a new line in, upto now seems ok.

I've got Openreach coming on Friday to fix the horrendous speeds I'm having with Plusnet. It is unusable at times. They have already fixed one fault on the line. My new router should be in use for when the line is fixed!
