Plusnet....the saga continues

Well for anyone again who is not ware good old Plusnet have been having to rough ride lately

They say bad news comes in three's so not wishing to dissapoint Plusnet have today emailed 20,000 of its users details to 3500 of its customers.

Being fair there was no credit card information.

Oh and this is on top of the 700 gig of customer data that an engineer deleted and a public rant from the "Marketing" director !!

Yep

Although they aren't as bad as our previous ISP - FreeUK £22.99 for 512k lol. Emailed them a few times saying "For £2 more we could 4 times the speed (2mb)" and they were't interested.
Plusnet seem to be having a bad time at the mo, all the 8mb regrade problems and the deleted emails, what next...

Service Status today doesn't seem too bad.

i'm with plusnet too, aint really bothered about all the mistakes they've made, aslong as i am able to connect up and browse and download what i like i'm not too bothered about losing a few 1000 emails.

I am on Force9 and yes i got the email (well 2 actualy) with loads of peoples details on including mine. However i have no intention of changing isp as personally i have had no problems with them in over a year.

The information sent out was in a comma separated spreadsheet format and contained the following fields: "service_id","username","full_name","product_name","subscription_charge", "postmaster_email","alt_email","visp","optout_status","active_status","real_name".

been with plus over a year and never had a problem with them yet (touch wood)

when i have spoken to there tech support they have answered the phone within 5 mins and answered my online questions within 2 hours.
