Hi
Has anyone had any dealings with plus net i am with ukfsn and had it with them i dont dl a huge amount so would plusnet be ok for games and newsgroups  cheers
nick

When i was with them about 2 years ago the support was terrible, had to ussually wait atleast half an hour to speak to someone over the phone. My connection was always dropping and latency jumped up during peak hours. Things might have changed now but back then it was a nightmare.

Had over a year with Plusnet in my last abode and it wasn't too bad, once installed. It just worked and there was little downtime in my area.

I'm with VM Cable now but if going for a ADSL provider I wouldn't use anything except and Enta reseller.

cheers its just i noticed thay do a pro service for gamers looks quite good and only monthly contracts might give um a go

PlusNet support went through a dreadful patch some time ago but is now good. It was taken over by BT last year but still operates as an independent company. I've been with Plus for nearly three (or is it four?) years with very few problems. I also have a number of referers including two schools that are also happy with the service.

i've been a customer for 4 years now
never had a problem, lots of horror stories but they've always been great to me, very fast problem solving, and download 150-200gb+ every month without problems (as long as i abide by 15gb between 4pm-mid)

nice thanks, think the most i have ever used it 65 gb off and 10gb pick with ukfsn do Plusnet slow your speeds down in of peak ?

nope, never had any slowdown off-peak
they throttle torrents during peak though if you approach your peak limit

i was with plusnet and when i tried to leave they made it as hard as possible, charged me an extra month which too another mont to get refunded. stay away from them imo.

plusnet were great to start off,but have gone downhill since they moved to tiscali(?) based solutions
Moved from them to bethere, havent looked back since

hmmm, when they were taken over by BT they stopped all migrations to tiscali's LLU service.

I really can't fault them for what i do. The customer service is second to none imho. Everytime i've rang up they have always been willing to help and kick BT up the butt to sort out the problems.
