so had a problem the other night router just lost connection .. never came back on ..
so had to phone them .. now my max guaranteed speed is 58.8 but now i have 48..
and a ping of 30-40 .. when it was 12-15
tried to contact them but the lad said master socket .. to which i said yes built in splitter ..
i said my speed should be above 58 and he said no just 45 which i asked if he would like to see the screen shot of the agreement ..

so how long before i can say bye bye to them under the guaranteed speed agreement ?

Assuming there isn't a problem with the line DLM will kick in and your line will eventually return to normal.

If there's a permanent issue that's reducing your speed moving ISPs isn't going to fix it (Openreach's equipment).

Mine did the same the other day. Just got to wait and it will hopefully speed up.
